Thanks to thermal technology, the AXIS Q2112-E provides reliable 24/7 capture and verification, regardless of lighting conditions and even in the presence of smoke and light fog—while protecting privacy. It features a powerful sensor with extremely high thermal sensitivity for a low false alarm rate. In addition, there are six lens options to choose from (10 mm, 19 mm, 25 mm, 35 mm, 60 mm, 100 mm) to enable a wider or longer and narrower field of view. When mounted on a positioning unit (sold separately), this rugged camera provides a 360° overview. This unobstructed field of view, combined with the camera’s high resolution, ensures excellent scene understanding, especially in low-contrast scenes. Furthermore, electronic image stabilization (EIS) ensures a stable, reliable video image in all environments.

This powerful thermal camera delivers actionable insights that help you make informed decisions for your operations. AXIS Motion Guard, AXIS Fence Guard, and AXIS Loitering Guard come pre-installed—for proactive monitoring. You can also purchase AXIS Perimeter Defender with AI-based features for enhanced protection. Based on a powerful analytics platform, you can add customized third-party analytics features. And with four I/O ports, an RS485 serial port, and Edge-to-Edge technology, you can easily integrate and trigger other devices, such as a network speaker or a strobe siren.
