This ARTPEC-9-based, AI-powered block camera delivers optimized performance and enables impressive analytics capabilities directly in the camera. It is available with a wide-angle lens (4.7–10 mm) and features a built-in wiper, allowing it to withstand harsh outdoor conditions.

Excellent image quality

The AXIS Q1726-LE offers 4K resolution at 60 frames per second and features a 1/1.8-inch sensor that ensures consistent performance even in low ambient light. Thanks to Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR, it delivers true-to-life colors and the finest forensic details even in challenging lighting conditions or near-total darkness. Axis Zipstream significantly reduces bandwidth and storage requirements with support for AV1, H.264, and H.265. In addition, it is available with a wide-angle lens (4.7–10 mm) that, with a horizontal field of view of 101.08°–44°, is suitable for monitoring in wide, open areas. Furthermore, the built-in lens with remote zoom functionality is perfectly calibrated to save time and effort.

For use in harsh outdoor conditions

Ideal for deployment at any outdoor location, the AXIS Q1726-LE comes with a built-in wiper and a front lens with carbon nanotube film heating, ensuring excellent image quality even in snow, rain, ice, and fog. Its operating temperature range is from -40 °C to 60 °C. It can also withstand wind speeds of up to 60 m/s. This future-proof camera features a standardized housing design that can be reused with any Axis Block camera. This makes it a more efficient and environmentally friendly camera and ensures that you get the best possible value from your investment. For resistance to harsh weather conditions and impacts, the front glass has an IK08 impact resistance rating, while the housing is certified to protection classes IK10, NEMA 4X, NEMA TS-2, IP66, and IP67.

ARTPEC-9 builds on the remarkable features and capabilities that defined previous generations of our in-house developed System-on-Chip (SoC): low bitrate, AI-powered analytics, outstanding image quality, and built-in cybersecurity. It also introduces AV1, an open-source video coding standard from the Alliance for Open Media. With support for AV1 and enhanced image processing, ARTPEC-9 delivers high-quality video with uncompromised detail and clarity, as well as an industry-leading bitrate. When combined with Axis Zipstream, AV1 ensures seamless video recording both locally and in the cloud. Furthermore, ARTPEC-9 supports advanced analytics applications that detect objects earlier and analyze events with greater precision.

Powerful and Highly Secure

This AI-based camera is equipped with a Deep Learning Processing Unit (DLPU), enabling you to run advanced features and powerful analytics directly in the camera (edge-based). AXIS Object Analytics comes pre-installed to detect, classify, track, and count people, vehicles, and vehicle types. AXIS Image Health Analytics comes pre-installed and notifies you if the image is obstructed, out of focus, underexposed, or if the field of view is blocked. Axis Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform, protects the device and provides secure FIPS 140-3 Level 3-certified key storage as well as secure operations.
